Meredith Foster’s ridden that wave since 2009, creating lifestyle and fashion-focused videos for her diehard followers, on everything from “How to Make School Suck Less” to her Grammy’s getting-ready routine. We’ve had our eyes on that gorgeous long, light-tipped mane of hers for a minute so when she popped into the office, the turn up got real. Celeb hairstylist Brittany Gharring took Meredith’s tresses for a holiday spin while we got to know the spunky YouTube starlet. Keep reading to get to know all things Meredith’s mane.
Describe your signature hairstyle or the hair you feel most confident in.
My signature hairstyle is a side braid! I’ve been wearing it since I started making videos in 2009. It’s definitely my go to look!
What’s your everyday hair routine like?
Most days I just wash it and let it air dry. For special occasions I go to the salon and get a blow out!
Name one specific hair product you can’t live without.
My hair gets oily very quickly so I always use Living Proof Dry Shampoo to get rid of any oil.
Do you have any hair regrets?
I regret getting my hair thinned out when I was little! I ended up buying hair extensions to make my hair full again.
Craziest thing you’ve ever done to your hair?
The craziest thing I’ve ever done to my hair was the day we had the photoshoot and the glam team put colorful tinsel and dreads in my hair! It turned out SO cool, I fell in love with the look.
Dead or alive, who would you trade hair with?
I would trade hair with Audrey Hepburn! Her hair always looked so classy and she is one of my favorite actresses!
If you could do anything to your hair next, what would you do?
I would love to try out some fringe! I had bangs once and really want to rock it again!
You never leave the house without___.
I never leave the house without some chapstick! My lips get dry very easily so I always need to keep a lip balm in my bag.
You’ve amassed almost 5 million subscribers ( ) and stay creating more dot com content for your followers. What can the world expect next from Meredith?
I’m working on new script ideas for YouTube and constantly thinking of exciting things to produce for my viewers!
